Unfortunately, the revision rhinoplasty has been performed in close number to the aesthetic nasal surgeries (rhinoplasty) in our country. If there is insufficiency here, the cartilage of ear can be benefited from. The cartilages gotten from the ear do not give damage to the ear, and the mark does not appear because it will be behind the ear. If deformity in the nose is very bad and large amount of cartilage is needed, in this case a piece of cartilage can be taken from the rib. The piece taken out from inside a very small incision will not cause a change in your body; it will only leave a thin and small mark.

Sometimes, there may be problems concerning the bone, not the cartilage. Incorrect bone unions, the open roof deformity, being shaved less or much of the bone, and the step deformity are the deformities that cause the revision rhinoplasty. The plaster time in revision rhinoplasty changes according to the operation performed. It should stay 5 days if a procedure will be performed only related to the cartilages, and 7-10 days if a correction will be performed related to the bone.
